When we experience pain or other discomforts in our bodies, we often try to fix them by targeting the area where they show up. “My neck hurts, so there must be something wrong with my neck, therefore I should do exercises for my neck.” “My gut hasn’t been feeling good so I am obviously doing something wrong with my diet.” The reality is that pain and other symptoms are a signal to our body that things in life aren’t quite balanced or working in our favor.

In this educational and interactive session, you’ll discover what else might be contributing to your physical pain beyond your physical body, as well as tools that can help you reduce your pain and discomforts without ever doing a list of physical therapy-based exercises or changing your diet.

This event is part of the Wellness Wednesday Series in May for Mental Health Awareness Month at Birch and Banyan.
